Bio:
To begin with Noisebud was all about gritty club music but have over time developed to a cross genre project were they span from initiate and participate in art projects, develop music software and produce music.
Producer, DJ and sound engineerJohannes Ahlbergand producer and composer Sol Andersson joined forces to participate in a remix competition held by Dutch electronic forum Foem and the label Mote Evolver in june 2008. The track to remix was Luke Slater’s ‘Head Converter’. Their remix stood out among 250 submitted remixes probably because of the fact that they didn’t keep a single sound from the original mix. They even swapped the vocal track with a new fresh recording with Sol. They won the competition and encouraged by their success they decided to keep on working together.
Noisebud’s almost anarchistic approach to music, art and life is often reflected in their productions and live performances; they span through electronic genres like others change underwear and you’ll never know what will come next out of this collaboration.
